Interesting Facts
Published by bernard October 18th, 2007 in entreprenuership, Business, Advice.Welcome back, here Are some interesting facts that we found out along the way during our trial run:
1) Conspiracy theory going on about Enveluv
We had people who send card to themselves, thinking that enveluv was just a prank like the gmail paper pulled off by google last april. Well guys, really really sorry to disappoint you guys but we are still 6 months to early for a prank, Enveluv is the real deal. And we have some interesting line-up waiting for you guys.
2) Printer can’t print 200gsm Paper
We made an assumption that all printer could print 200gsm paper, and we when looking for a commodity printer that could do magic. But We were dead wrong, the shops at low yat told us that none in the market could accomplish this feat. Any suggestions?
3) Off is good
Off is a mosquitoes repellent that is super kau lat effective. It’s about RM 19 and is orange in colour. It’s damn good…. it really keeps those mosquitoes away, and it smells orange as well.
4) Pos Malaysia is actually very efficient
You know lah, before this i also thought Pos Malaysia sure take very long time to send out the mail. But but but hor, to our contrary, they were actually quite efficient and fast. It took less than 24hrs for mails within Klang Valley to be delivered, impressed.
5) Tulga can work for 72 hours continuously, you just need to feed him more.
It’s like the greatest discovery of 2007, we found out that tulga can actually work continuously for 72 hours. All we needed to was to make sure he is fed promptly.

i suppose pos malaysia is more efficient nowadays now that less ppl in the Klang Valley particularly using snail mail compared to last time.
I mean nowadays, almost everyone has an email so all kind of trivial mail will go through email and more business like mails or those with more formalities through snail mail. Its probably pos malaysia relief that its less mails but at the same they’re probably worried about there being less mails, which is probably one of the reasons why they started www.pospay.com.my
@ sam : I think it is because they are now private, not government anymore. And therefore it is faster. But then again, when we went there to give the mails, we were quite lost. Their service has not really really upgraded that so much. But at least their delivery became very fast. thts good enough.
Hi Avijit,
I personally printed 200 pcs of conference certificates on 200gsm paper easy peasy using HP LaserJet colour. Actually I think all printers can print on heavy cards as long as u set the setting as ‘200gsm card’ or something instead of ‘plain paper’. It will run slower than normal print rate but there wont be any smearing whatsoever.
Hope that helps.
